Learn a new skill this year with room and home design challenges in Design Home! About the App. All Positive Negative Community Expert 5 4 3 2 1. Community I think it's nice, you can practice designing your dream rooms and homes and then you can actually purchase the furniture from the design companies through the game.
Theres nothing worse than voting on two ugly rooms that someone threw together because they needed the in game cash, I understand needing the money but at least try to make the room look nice. Community This is one of my favorite home design games. It's so much fun and it's easy to start playing it and find out that hours have gone by.
It's amazing what you come up with when you are playing it. Community Tons of technical issues, awful voting Oct 22, By Mushroom Girl. Problems loading items, new collection items don't appear in store.
Tech support never answers and you will be expected to fix your problems on your own. Voting is biased. People don't get the meaning of "interior design". Instead, the ugliest and most generic designs win. I suggest you spend your money on other games. They will likely cost way less and are less frustrating.
Community No rhyme nor reason - very sketchy gam Sep 30, By Diane Alden. Every 4 or so designs I throw up mismatched crap and score over 4. Meantime the winning designs all look the same. I do rooms to please myself. Scores for large venues got 5 - very few individual rooms score above 4. My average 4. Expert Decorate with style! Design talent.. May 8, By reneeheartwing. As much as I enjoy playing this game, and I do, because I love home decor and design and I have a true eye for both, I am disappointed in the scoring that is going on.
I feel that mostly I play it just to have my own portfolio of creative and beautiful rooms. The furniture and architecture that you use is top of the line. Some of the atrocious designs that get five points over a beautiful design that I have created which only gets 3.
Dec 28, By Kelli Davis. Wish it didn't take so many diamonds and coins to purchase anything but other than that I love it. I've been playing for a while and now I have my sister and nephew playing it. Starting to slip on my stars Been playing this for a while. Absolutely love it but wish I could afford diamonds.
This takes a lot of diamonds if you want good votes Super addictive but could use some updates Jan 9, By Mommash I love this game and have been playing for about 8 months now. I think the app could be more fun if they take away the super long descriptions for each room—I never read them, only put in the requirements and then put together a room that looks balanced in color that I think looks cool.
I just quickly noticed that top scoring rooms always are balanced in color and so I play to win rather than creating a room that fits the specified challenge. To each her own! Design bundles are the only things worth purchasing. To get bundles of diamonds I prefer to use the offerwall and buy something useful to get diamonds. I tried out a new home food delivery service for K diamonds and that was a win-win.
Jan 7, By Morgen Sanborn. I find this app to be very calming, using it daily as a 20min. It was a good source of ideas for my own home as well. The only thing I would change about would be to enhance the product filter beyond Style, Material, Color, etc. When one has selected even a very basic filter of Style x Color, there isn't any further rganization of the subsequent results, and I think a pricing filter could help this.
Dec 29, By Lisha. So addicting! I swear I'm always opening up this app to see what's next lol. I try to complete the free offers so I can get diamonds.. I wish you could get more out of them. The free offers will offer more diamonds than you actually get when spending real money. That's kinda strange but other than that.
See all positive reviews. By Frances Berry. Love the game. The voting system at best is frustrating. I quit playing for over two years and now I do understand why I did. I am frustrated because it seems that when I just throw stuff together, the higher my score. As one player stated "garish and unlivable" is what the voters like.
There is a part of me that won't allow it. Admittedly, some of my decorations leave something to be desired, but when I compare to what won I am like geez.
So like another player said, I will just do me. Jan 11, By Wilma Bean. Love the game and I did rate it as a 5 star. I dropped it to 2 because things could be different. I've spent hundreds of dollars for keys and the things that makes the designs complete. The players deserve more than 20 keys. While I appreciate winning the prize furniture I would equally appreciate winning more of the decorative items as well. I understand that everything is about money.
But I believe that there should be some breaks given to those players who have spent levels of real money. By Cookie Food. Highly addictive. I don't like games where you continuously pay for things instead of a one-time fee. I know there are sweet old ladies who are getting trapped to the addictive elements. That said, game has very good graphics but takes forever to load.
You can play without paying but it is a bit more time consuming. The tap joy portion can be annoying because the higher the diamond offer, the longer the payout, even after you've jumped hoops.
The game teaches you how to design which is neat. See all negative reviews. See All Community Reviews. See All Expert Reviews. See all 5 reviews. Love the game! Feb 6, By Jacey Laine. First off I love the app! I've been playing for months and haven't lost interest, that being said there's a few things I wish were different; first off I wish it was easier to earn cash I've put some of my own real money into the game and it's gone so quick but takes so long to add back up, second thing i think it'd be so fun to have mirrors available for wall decor the pictures and stuff sometimes just look weird but going without the decor looks weird too!
Third thing is that I tend to find a few things frustrating the first being with the new update it takes HOURS to get your voting results, the second being the prizes often are things you can't use for a long period of time-I love the sectionals but they're not required often!
The last thing is more of a personal preference more than anything I love when there are outdoor spaces to do I wish they were more frequent! I also really think it would be fun if you could choose more than just furniture in the rooms maybe do a series where you're in control of the paint and flooring too!
Great Jul 17, By I play this every day! I only do the daily challenge because the other challenges have requirements you have to meet before you can enter, which can use up all your money. I get really disappointed when I spend all my diamonds on a design and only get a 4.
I also feel like you should get more of a reward for getting a five. The only extra thing you get is diamonds. It takes a lot of effort to get a five, so I think it deserves something extra, like an extra piece of furniture or a rug or something.
Or at least more than diamonds. I will say that the ad is not what the game is. You just design rooms. This game is a lot of fun and I recommend it. By Rachie I really do love this game! My husband actually chastised me for the vast amount of money I have spent on this game. I have changed the way I play because I recognize that I will not be judged on the client criteria, but on the general appeal.
That would mean that some designs that should probably receive five stars do not because they were put up against others who are also very good. Finally, I really wish there was a way to earn more diamonds.
It would be great if after you have achieved 75 keys, you could keep voting in order to receive diamonds. Great way to inspire people to vote and incentivize those of us who would like to earn diamonds more quickly. Love game, would love it more if some things were changed Mar 5, By wolffem. I have a, for the most part, great time playing this game. I love interior design and I feel it is a creative outlet.
But, I feel some things should be changed in order for me to enjoy it more. Because things are so expensive I find myself not playing it for a while because my rooms can't look the way I'd like them to. I understand having to repurchase items, because some items I wouldn't want to have in my inventory forever, and the game has to make it so that people have to spend money. But, I feel if you win a prize you should be able to purchase it at a reduced price, that isn't diamonds.
If you didn't win the prize it should remain the same price. I need diamonds to buy art and plants over and over again, because they really make the room. And I can't afford to spend the amount of money I'd like to on furniture because not only can I not afford to buy diamonds, and they took the earn free diamonds option off, when you buy them they don't give you a very large amount so it really doesn't last long.
I also feel the score after voting should round up if you get a score of 3. But overall, love the concept of the game. Just wish it could be a little more fun by letting me create the kinds of rooms I'd like to create. Beware Jun 7, By Yuck1! I absolutely love this game. It's super fun BUT There is something off with it! It also seems like prices are adjusted depending on the daily design challenges making them even more expensive when needed for a challenge. Items also disappear from personal inventory without having used them up.
Also, it's way too expensive! It's a total scam! Fun, but a scam! Lastly voting seems really strange sometimes! Something is not right! I just wonder what if anything they aren't being above board about? Someone should report them! My recommendation Don't use this app! See all 4 reviews. No reviews available See all 3 reviews. Dec 30, By EHL Marquez. I'd enjoyed this game in the past. Starting in late Nov, began having multiple problems with it. It will say it can't access decor items in my own inventory, some of which I have multiples.
It will let me exchange diamonds or purchase but then not give me access. It also started just giving multiple error messages when trying to access challenges. Support said to clear out out 3 GB of memory for it to run, is that what others have done cause it seems a lot???
Updating the app didn't help either more. See all 2 reviews. Jan 9, By Samantha Currier. Use to be 5 stars, was my favorite game ever. But the game started having connection issues all the time and has continued to have them.
I have tried different devices and different ways of connecting to the internet, which was no help. I use to play all the time but because of the issues I hardly ever play now It's frustrating and just a waste, when you buy stuff to finish a design, you don't end up being able to submit cause of constant crashing for no connection.
By Amy Hurst. Stuff is too expensive to buy. Waste of money. No more houses to decorate of your own after 12, so what's the point of collecting home points if you can't use them. Need more kid and fun rooms. Tired of doing same boring stuff over and over. And have so much furniture I don't need or use because it's ugly. Need another sell back day..
I spend a lot of money and get no extra benefits. By C Santiago-Crocker. Nothing much has really changed. Nothing new or exciting. Everything seems the same. In my homes challenges you get to design 12 different style homes and thats it.
Nothing new added, all you can do is redesign them. I'm all set with that. I've almost uninstall but still waiting for something new and exciting. I definitely don't play as much as I use to. And Ive also stop buying furniture pieces. By Miss X. Scoring on your designs sucks big time, it's like it's rigged, they need a better system for scoring.. Sometimes some of your items mysteriously disappear Customer service overwhelmed, but when they get to you they are very nice and helpful!
They get a 5 score. See all 1 reviews. Sign Up. Email Email Address is required. Password Password is required. Sign In. We will never share or sell your data with third parties. Community New update to the game ruined it Jan 12, By Nicole Haynes.
New update is horrible! Display is terrible and the game is very laggy. I used to enjoy it, but now really could care less if play it. By Juanita Melvin. I feel the voting is way off the grid.
It seems they rather vote for a design that is colorless than a design that has personality. I'm not enjoying this game, at all Dec 31, By Vampy Anji. If it were for the beautiful designs, I'd offer a 5 star. This game went from fun and rewarding to greedy and repetitious. They often recycle the same designs, it's quite obvious the voting is sketchy, and they stopped giving special prices. Challenges are limited to items that are mostly gold, some have required stars to unlock them in order to play, and a purchase of 10 uses has been resorted to 5.
Win-win for them, not so much for consumers. I'm about to tap out. By Tammy. Been playing since February I purchase the season pass. I stayed quiet as the prizes and wins lowered. Not anymore. We all pay the same amount to take part in the season pass. I am learning that for December, they have a group of people required to earn twice as many XP to level up even though we have all paid the same amount. It is disturbing that they believe this is ok. With the amount I have been playing prior to finding this out, would be done with the season!!
Community SCAM Gambling with no reward Dec 2, By Carol Wright. Very expensive to play It adds up!!! Game is from Israel Somebody is making a ton of?
Community Metal finishes and the reveal Nov 20, By Brenda Outlaw. I'm new to this game. You must have read this many times.
Selected metal finishes appear black on the screen. This makes it very difficult in deciding if you made the right decision. Once you submit your final design you are embarrassed by the final result. More than not. I wish to know how to get around this stumbling block. When I select copper I want to see copper. Not black. Community Do Not Play this game. Oct 1, By Sarah Shafter. I enjoyed the game. However, the app crashed and after contacting support I received a bs auto reply.
After researching, I found this has been happening to people for 6 weeks or longer. I've spent money on items and can't play the game. Almost like extortion. Community Cant play if you dont pay Sep 2, By Emily Ferraro. If you dont want to pay the game to play you wont have enough fake money to play. This game use to be very kind and give a lot of opportunity so a non payer could play all the "rooms" to design but they updated their game and now its horrible for people who dont pay.
I loved this game. It's very simple and cute but if you dont pay them you dont play. It's not worth it anymore to play the game. Updates suck. Fun Exciting Interesting Challenging Jan 25, By WhiskeyJacq. It's fun trying to meet requirements and challenges and be creative when you have limited resources compared to other players. I love to dabble in design, interior, garden, graphic, etc and this is a fun way to express that side of me.
One thing Imwoukd like to see changed. When you an item you usually get 5 at a time. If it is an item I own and I choose it, it automatically deducts the item from my inventory. However, I may decide not to use it. Please make it so we can deselect it or to not take it out of inventory until we complete the design. Sometimes an item looks different in shade or color once applied to a design. Not being able to change to another item without losing your already purchased item is disappointing.
Sometimes there just isn't the right shade or hue if blue or green that perfectly compliments the rest of a design and you have to start over with your plan. Thank you for an amazing app. I look forward to more challenges and more choices for colors.
Bug takes away prizes Dec 8, By ToneyLady. The bug is still there. I clicked over to look at my profile, as you suggested, and it shows the design - which did in fact, come in first. That XP, in-game currency and the decor item unlocks are what keep the game going. I had intended on spending more, asking my husband for money to spend on Redecor as part of my Christmas gift.
If you all do not fix this bug and give me the in-game rewards I have earned, I will not be spending any more money with your company, as it would just be throwing good money after bad. By Kkittee. But the 4 star is for the voting. While I play for the fun and can hope I earn votes for my designs, I am finding it harder and harder to vote because so few have creative design and always at the top are the boring black, gray, whites What child opens a door to that color room and feels stimulated???
And a traditional kitchen for Grandma-top winner-purple, black and gray. And the voting will just be what it is, beauty really is in the eye of the beholder. Have fun, imagine and then design!!! Love the daily challenges and the duels!! Interesting to see what others create and so much can be learned for real life design!!
It would be fun to have a free play where there are a few different scenarios each week to practice and play around with without submitting for voting, that would help pass the time between challenges and give ample opportunity to hone the skill of design.
Otherwise, bring on more daily challenges and duels, I can handle them!!! Jan 10, By Pamela Haines. One of the first decorating game that is literally all about making a room look good. The room is already covered in furniture and accessories, but it is a blank slate of color and textures. A very relaxing and fun game. Nice thing is if you are patient you don't need money to get the decor that's not freely given.
You earn money and coin in the game. Amazing game. Keep up the great work. Best app of this type Aug 10, By katencheyenne.
The entire set up of the game is just superior to all the others. You can do one on one challenges with a random person and see their design first and then try to make yours better. Then people vote on whose design they like more. You can also enter multiple challenges in a day before running out of money to buy supplies, whereas in other apps you usually only get a big enough reward per design to enter one more design per day.
Overall, I love this app. Decor Delight Jul 31, By Vintage Melon. I definitely enjoy this app immensely. I am not in anyway inclined to be a great decorator but there was some thing about it that attracted me to want to try.
My first entry I won first place. I am now on there every day whether it is to vote for other peoples designs or to create some of my own. They give you so much cash that you basically are pretty good for quite a while plus you earn money for decorating, winning, and just for signing up for the game.
If I can only earn three stars per day or even per entry, how am I supposed to have enough to buy a set of pillows or a set of pretty carpets? I just refuse. Not doing it. The game is great though so I would suggest trying it Great Game Results Take Too Long Though. Nov 29, By lyriclover I do agree with someone who said results take too long. A full day is too long to wait. As far as the voting, you win some and you lose some. And that is okay.
Beauty is subjective. No one should feel entitled to a top ranking. With color, you have to be careful. Think about your home. Do you really have red walls and orange countertops? You should follow the prompt and try to stand out, of course, but within reason. Two main colors with an accent color always works. I am by no means an interior designer expert but I have seen some tacky designs that had no sense of direction.
Or maybe it all should just change to one-on-one duels because they only take 2 hours to calculate. Nonetheless, I do think that we should only be competing with and voting for people within one exclusive group. Other than that, people like what they like.
How do you think these people pay their bills? By Sscindia. Hi there! This game lets me be very creative, and can even cheer me up on a gloomy day. First off, lots of people come up with unique, colorful ideas. I think that this is wonderful because you can actually see what some textures and colors look like.
I showed this to my sister and she said that she wants the game too because of this! Both of us are really into this game! Anyway, thank you for reading my review. I hope it convinces you to get this game! After all, it is free :. By mandi marsh. I love this game, there are so many items to choose from and you don't have to play a match three game to decorate a room.
But a few things kept it from 5 star, the award system needs fixed bc unless your first place you get nothing. More coins need given out or cheaper to buy. The cactus cup needs updated. But I play everyday. Best decor game there is more. Lovely game with 2 major flaws. Feb 16, I adore it and suggest you download it. Sadly though, it has its downsides. First of all, money.
When you start out, you get a bunch of money. It drains your money so slowly you barely notice. And when you do, you vote for a while to earn more money. Just not worth it. From down to earth to out of this world, there's a way to create your style in this furniture sandbox game.
