It's a great game. I have played this game since I was a kid and I love it. But now that I have the new Mac system This isn't the first game this has happened with and it's just sad to spend all this money and then not be able to play my games.

So I recommend this game to anyone who doesn't have the new Mac system Rated 5 out of 5 by gg from It is loads of fun, but it takes a while to get all 7 'special' fish! The colors in this fun game were truly beautiful! This game has so many different types of fish that you can create, just be sure to built up to the 3rd level on all the educational info.

It really helps to keep all your fish alive. Colorful, colorful and totally relaxing after a long day of work!! I highly recommend this fun game!! Rated 5 out of 5 by dagdas from I've had this game since and now I can't find it on my computer. Made lots of wonderful fish combo's all fins still exploring all possibility's heheh love it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by jolarti from A very fun and retro favorite So: the graphics are bad, and when you're trying to sell your fish, you can't do anything else. Yet: I love this game so very, very much! It is strangely addicting and it's actually quite fun as a screensaver as well.

There isn't much I can add to what other reviewers said, except for: I am a long time adventure gamer and I usually play games that require crazy intellectual skills, but in between I always keep on coming back to Fish Tycoon.

It's like a good old friend. This is a 'real time' game that sort of evolves. When I leave the house I'll think 'oh my', did I feed the fish?! I twiddle around in the aquariums like a person in a garden in no particular hurry speculating if I should go with the tried and true 30 dollar money cows or spend a couple days trying for some esoteric jack pot with multiple fins and fanning purple tails.

This is not a game that you sit down and win or lose in a finite period of time. The 'magic fish' might indicate winning I suppose but I give them very little thought. In this game the journey is the thing.

I'm always winning because with it I'm always enjoying the 'game'. Every time I play I learn something new. This game just becomes a part of the daily routine. Have your coffee, feed the fish, check for ich or fungus, sit there and do nothing for a time or two.

Make some progress here, suffer the pangs of a generation getting wiped out for some reason there, ah, temperamental types, let the food bar get too low, dang, need to keep track of that.

Start catching myself saying things like 'oh I can't put him in tank two, he'd be the only one of his species, might get lonely. Might save up for that fancy ornament but should really put some more money into environmental research instead, been losing too many fish in their teens lately. Yeah this is a great game, the cat's meow. It'll grow on you to be sure. And, in my case anyway, has gone a long way into introducing me to patience, calm, and just the Zen of the moment.

A great game at a ridiculously low price. Keeps you wanting to keep on going just to see what will pop out next : Good for genetic study or just plain play! Would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in life. You make the decisions and the cash! No right or wrong answer!
