The OCC works with Department staff, other NYS agencies, municipalities, and stakeholders to develop and implement programs to reduce climate pollution and to help New Yorkers better prepare for the impacts of our changing climate.
The APA will prepare routine correspondence; collect and analyze data; assist in the preparation, review, and evaluation of reports and records; make routine determinations of compliance with agency rules, regulations and program specifications. The APA will have frequent written and oral communications with a wide variety of people, including executive and management staff, co-workers, program and administrative staff, representatives of businesses and organizations, elected and appointed officials and their staff, and the general public.
Effective working relationships must be established and maintained to foster assistance and cooperation and to represent the executive, management staff and the program.
