In reply to Job Sam Varkey's post on June 16, Whoever answers this question should actually read the question and not just post a generic answer to some link that may be relevant, but not at all helpful. I am having the exact same issue. This link provided does not supply any helpful information. Everything was working great until this update was installed. I performed a system restore to before the update and now it works fine again.
I would like the updates, but it should not slow down my connection to much less than half its speed. I am not sure which update it is, but it is one of the ones listed in the original question. It does a ping correctly with MS to the websites 8.
But when I enter the internet explorer, I still get that I do not have internet. What should I do to be able to access the web from this windows xp? I need to install google chrome apart?
